For me, it’s the most wonderful book about magic, and also the most popular book for children and adults. I loved Harry Potter ever since I’m old enough to read it. To me, it’s like the guide to lead me to the world of reading. It’s through this that I love reading, and especially reading the book itself. Harry Potter is probably the classic book of the world of magic, and also the classic book for any reader around the world. This book is a success.

For the readers of the book, “Harry Potter” is like a feast on both vision and mind. The story gives the readers the feeling of standing there themselves, watching at all the characters doing their jobs. J.K. Rowling did great on constructing a new world, a world made up of magic and also the 20th century in the “Muggle” world. The author not only needs to make it magical, but also have to make it logical, and that’s the hardest part. But the thing is, “Harry Potter” combined the two perfectly.

`Like in the first book, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, a famous part of Severus Snape was given to the class. “…I can teach you how to bottle fame, brew glory, even stopper death—if you aren’t as big a bunch of dunderheads as I usually have to teach.” This quote gives us an impression on professor Snape himself. In the book, Snape appears as a sarcastic professor whose favorite hobby was torturing Harry Potter. But the truth is, Snape is Harry’s guardian. In the first lesson, Snape asked Harry what do you get if you add “Powdered root of asphodel” to “an infusion of wormwood”, which had a deeper meaning of “My regrets follow you to the grave”.

J.K. Rowling did great on creating a person’s personality and character; it’s natural, with no flaws.

In the last dialogues between Snape and Harry, Snape finished his life in the last “Look…at…me…”. This scene brought tears to peoples’ eyes, and was considered as the most moving scene of all. It also creates the climax part of the book, which ends on the death of the Dark Lord and the triumph of the Order of the Phoenix.

To me, Harry Potter is a really good book, because it tells us about a magical world, with all the characters full of life. It is successful on creating the characters, and in the whole world itself. But it is not like any childish stories; it’s a book that can be read by people in all the ages. In a way, it is the best I had ever met about magic.
