Unpredictability of Light
by Julian
With rising towers in the evanescent distance
Rays of light pierce through the resistant,
penetrating light glass
From the sun’s grandiose spars
That diverge into nonlinear paths
The bright spark diminishes itself
Into the crystal clear distance
Lest we must not forget,
To sigh with unrest
that hues of yellow
Can change in life.
Sunrise
by Johnson
A fairie queen stands on top of the crystal tower
And gazes out as far as she could;
She saw the grand land of Elysium Glade
And the rolling up dark clouds;
She bent down her back and sighed,
Until she saw the dew glistening on the green plant
Under the little patch of sunlight,
From a thin crack of dark sky.
Untitled
by Daniella
The daunting darkness occupied the tower
just like how fear occupied my heart.
I keep myself isolated in a fragile crystal cage
The one I put all my utopian dreams in
Closing my eyes, I see a glistening world before me
the tiny cage grand with vibrant colors.
A chilling wind shatters the cage and smashes my dreams
Leaving me alone sighing, not knowing where I’m going.
Memory Fragments
by Rachel
I pour golden crystallines into the dawn
Piecing stars again, one by one
My bridge between the tower and the starry sky scatters
Sunrise and glistening tears, I see
Fragrance of citrus, jasmine, sandalwood, tea
Remembering, I sigh
“Rock-a-bye baby on the treetops, when the wind blows, the cradle will rock…”
She bids a grand farewell to my life, I shall embrace.
Untitled
By Helen
What I face in life is like high towers that goes up to the sky,
What I reach out for is as far as glistening stars in the night.
What I stand on is crystals of floating ice,
Breaking,
Splitting,
But, my friend, there is no need to sigh!
As a grand, glorious future is in sight!
