Introduction

Welcome! My name is Helen. You are now setting foot on a website with a main author who wishes to share with everyone interesting things she is learning in her life. That is a great wish, and I assume that it might be a bit confusing at first. BUT, let me explain and it will all come clear.

 

This blog will be composed of facts and small definitions about psychology and linguistic applications in daily life. For example, how will you ask someone to do you a favor? Do you start small and gradually add on till you reach your real want or do you first scare them off with an impossible request and cut it in half? What specific words would you want to use? 

    

At least for me, these are pretty practical questions to consider everyday, and I believe that it’s not just me. I hope that through my writings, you will find some resemblance on what you experience to what I have posted and realize that all these events and occurrences have a name. 

    

In addition to all of this content sharing and comparatively “scientific” info, I will also randomly post poems I wrote to change our brains for a bit, in hope that more people can find something interesting in this unique genre.
